QLD Female Founders Co-investment Fund

The Female Founders Co-Investment Fund (the Fund) is geared towards boosting both the quantity and quality of investments directed towards female-founded businesses in Queensland, particularly those with a strong focus on innovation, also known as innovation-driven enterprises (IDE). Eligible businesses will receive assistance to access funding and attract new early-stage investments aimed at enhancing their operational capacity.
The Fund's objectives include:
- supporting female founders in Queensland to successfully close early-stage investment rounds with Government support
- assisting female founders in Queensland to expand their innovative ventures across various industries
- increasing the participation of female founders in the Queensland innovation ecosystem
- contributing to the development of an investment pipeline specifically tailored for businesses founded by women.

WA New Industries Fund – Innovation Booster Grant

The Innovation Booster Grant (IBG) aids WA-based startups and small businesses in commercialising their innovative ideas or projects and expanding to generate employment opportunities. Funded through the $25.8 million New Industries Fund, the IBG is a competitive initiative of the Western Australian government.

WA New Industries Fund – Commercialisation Bridge Grant

The Commercialisation Bridge Grant (CBG) stands as a competitive government grant initiative in Western Australia, funded through the $25.8 million New Industries Fund. Its primary objective is to support innovators in Western Australia in bridging the gap between their commercialised innovations and the establishment of a viable business.

Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises
A grant of up to $25,000, covering up to 100% of eligible expenditure
The Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises program supports businesses in upgrading or replacing inefficient equipment. This initiative assists businesses in reducing their energy consumption while enhancing their energy efficiency. Furthermore, it will contribute to mitigating energy price fluctuations.

VIC Portland Diversification Fund
Up to $500,000
The Portland Diversification Fund Program offers professional financial assistance from the Victorian Government to businesses aiming to develop and/or expand operations that enhance the diversification of existing supply chains in Portland and the Glenelg Shire.
The Portland Diversification Fund aims to diversify the economic base of the Glenelg Shire by attracting new investment and supporting businesses to improve their productivity and competitiveness. Consequently, the fund could be utilised to conduct feasibility studies and business cases, enabling the development of capital projects and facilitating access to capital works funding through alternative avenues.

QLD Reef Coastal Restoration Program
Up to $2 million
The Reef Coastal Restoration Program (the program) aims to restore and rehabilitate Great Barrier Reef (the Reef) coastal habitats and ecosystems, particularly those classified as blue carbon systems. Through the implementation of various projects, the program will actively contribute to the achievement of the Reef 2050 Long-Term Sustainability Plan (Reef 2050 plan) and Reef Trust Outcomes.
The program aims to achieve the following objectives, rehabilitate and restore degraded or previously destroyed Reef coastal habitats/ecosystems through the implementation of on-ground ecosystem rehabilitation and restoration activities. The Reef 2050 Plan seeks to establish a future in which the reef is in improved condition and remains sustainable for future generations to come.

Go-Green Co-Innovation Program (GGCIP)
$150,000 - $500,000
As a pivotal component of the Singapore Australia Green Economy Agreement, Go-Green Co-Innovation Program (GGCIP) seeks to incentivise and facilitate collaborative innovation among SMEs from both countries. The program will play a crucial role in establishing or expanding business operations and commercial activities that promote bilateral trade in green goods and services. Grants are available for financing initiatives aimed at advancing the decarbonisation of economic activities and facilitating the transition of Singapore and Australia toward achieving net zero emissions. These initiatives encompass the development and commercialisation of products, services, or solutions.

Venture Capital Limited Partnerships (VCLP)

The Venture Capital Limited Partnership program provides tax incentives to fund managers and qualified foreign investors, aimed at promoting venture capital investments. These incentives encompass an exemption for eligible foreign investors, relieving them from capital gains tax on their portion of a fund's returns arising from qualified venture capital investments.

QLD Business Boost Grants Program
$10,000 - $20,000
The Business Boost Grant offers financial support to small businesses in Queensland, aimed at facilitating enhancements in their operational efficiency and overall productivity. This program encompasses funded initiatives in three project categories: future planning, specialised and automated software, and planning and systems for staff management and development.
