Future Made in Australia Innovation Fund

$750M Green Metals, $500M Clean Energy Tech, $250M LCLF

The Future Made in Australia (FMA) Innovation Fund will offer up to $1.5 billion in grants to drive pre-commercial innovation, demonstration, and deployment of renewable energy and low emission technologies, accelerating Australia’s journey to a net zero economy.

Powering the Regions – Industrial Transformation Stream (ITS)

$500K

$70 million in funding is available for innovation in industrial decarbonisation and advancing commercial deployment, with grants averaging $500,000 and requiring matched funding.

Community Energy Upgrades Fund Round 2

$25,000-$2.5M

This program co-funds energy efficiency and electrification upgrades for local governments to deliver reduced energy bills and emissions from local government owned and/or operated facilities.

ARENA Community Batteries Round 2

$5 million - $20 million

The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) has announced $46.3 million in funding for Round 2 of the Community Batteries Funding Program. This program aims to deploy community batteries across Australia to lower energy bills, cut emissions and reduce pressure on the electricity grid.

Festivals Australia Program – Round 20

Average $40,000 per grant

The Festival's Australia program aims to support arts and culture activities at festivals and community events in regional and remote Australia. It is a part of the Australian Government's Arts and Cultural Development Program to support participation in, and access to, Australia's arts and culture. Each funding round allocates approximately $700,000 with the average grant recipient receiving $40,000.

Queensland Destination Events Program (QDEP)

$15,000 - $100,000

The Queensland Destination Events Program (QDEP) aims to leverage the benefits between events and the destinations they are staged, extending the effects of the economic, marketing and social benefits of events throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland.

Critical Technologies Challenge Program – Round 2

Stage 1: $100,000-$500,000; Stage 2: up to $5million

This program supports consortia collaborations with funding to develop quantum technology solutions or components addressing market-driven challenges of national significance. Projects may also integrate advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and robotics to create innovative solutions.

Regional Airports Program – Round 4

$20,000-$7.5million

The Regional Airports Program aims to support the enhancement of aviation safety, accessibility and climate resilience. Up to $7.5 million in funding available for regional airports and aerodromes.

QLD First Nations Fashion and Textiles Accelerator Fund

Tier 1: $30,000 Tier 2: $60,000 

This fund seeks to support First Nations artists to share their stories, celebrate their cultural identity and maximise the economic potential of their art by translating it into fashion and fabric, with focus on commercial growth.
