Eligible venture capital funds can access flow-through tax treatment and receive tax exemptions on gains and income distributed to their investors.

SA Powering Business Grants

$2,500-$75,000

The SA Powering Business Grants provide $20 million in funding to help small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and not-for-profits improve energy efficiency, lower operating costs, and invest in cleaner technologies. Grants range from $2,500 to $75,000.

NT Global Trade Scheme

$3,000-$50,000

The program offers different levels of support depending on where the business currently is on its export journey. Each stream is based on a 50:50 co-contribution basis.

Grid Enhancing Technologies (GET)

$250,000-$5,000,000

The Grid Enhancing Technologies program provides businesses with up to $5 million in competitive grant funding to accelerate the uptake and deployment of grid enhancing technologies on Australia's electricity networks.

Defence and Aerospace Industry Development Fund (DAID)

$5,000-$30,000

This program supports Queensland SMEs to acquire recognised certification to help them participate in new or existing supply chains in the defence, aerospace and space industries. The Defence and Aerospace Industry Development Fund (DAID) has been established to support Queensland SMEs who are currently (or have previously) supplied to the defence, aerospace or space sectors, to acquire internationally recognised certification(s), which will assist them in undertaking new opportunities.

NSW Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool

$5K-$30K

The NSW Boating Infrastructure Emergency Repair Pool (BIERP) is a grant initiative by Transport for NSW, designed to provide financial assistance for the repair, replacement, or enhancement of public boating infrastructure impacted by natural disasters or severe weather events. With a total funding pool of $2 million, the program aims to ensure the safety and accessibility of boating facilities across New South Wales.

WA Heritage Grants Program

$10,000-$100,000

The Heritage Grants Program encourages investment in State Registered Heritage Places and supports key strategic objectives of the Heritage Council of Western Australia.

NSW MVP (Minimum Viable Product) Ventures Program

$20,000-$75,000

NSW MVP (Minimum Viable Product) Ventures Program is committed to supporting startups and innovative small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across the product lifecycle, bridging the gap between early-stage research and mature investment opportunities. The program offers grants designed to accelerate the commercialisation of highly innovative products or processes. The Program aims to: support businesses in increasing the commercialisation of innovative products and processes in NSW, and attract and retain commercialisation activities within the state. The Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade will allocate up to $3 million annually for the Program until June 30, 2027.
