WA Local Capability Fund – Aboriginal Business Round

The Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation has released the Local Capability Fund, which provides grants to help small and medium enterprises to enhance their competitiveness and secure work on large-scale projects in Australia and overseas. The Aboriginal Business Round aims to assist Western Australian small and medium enterprises to enhance their business capabilities. This funding program aims to build the capacity of Western Australian Aboriginal SMEs to participate effectively in the supply chains of export markets, state and local government agencies, the Australian Government, and the private sector.
WA Local Capability Fund – Digital Transformation Round

The Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation has released the Local Capability Fund, which provides grants to help small and medium enterprises to enhance their competitiveness and secure work on large-scale projects in Australia and overseas. The Digital Transformation Round of the Local Capability Fund opened on 26 July 2024 and will close on 13 September 2024. This round of funding round aims to empower SMEs to embrace digital technology. The program encourages businesses to adopt digital and data solutions that boost productivity, competitiveness, resilience, safety, and sustainability.
International Relations Grant Program Australia-Korea

The Australia-Korea Foundation provides annual grants to support projects or activities which enhance Australia-Korea relations. Funding is available for individuals and organisations undertaking exchanges, partnerships, or collaborations in business, education, academia, arts, culture, or society.
International Relations Grant Program Australia-Japan
$10,000 to $50,000
The Australian-Japan Foundation is working to enhance Australia's engagement with Japan through people-to-people exchanges, promoting Australia's contemporary identity in Japan, and advancing informed conversations on key bilateral foreign and trade policies. The AJF is seeking to do this by facilitating programs and partnerships in key areas such as economics, culture, media, education, business, science, technology, and sports.
VIC Timber Innovation Grants Program
Up to $1 million
The Timber Innovation Grant Program, established by the Victorian Government, aims to support native timber businesses in transitioning to other industry sectors while creating and retaining sustainable jobs. The program provides support to Victorian forestry businesses to explore, test, or implement new and innovative business models, as well as diversify or reorient their core activities towards alternative industry sectors.
WA Enterprise Support Program – Food Innovation Precinct
Up to $600,000
The Enterprise Support Program (ESP) which will provide $3.85M in funding to small to medium agribusinesses, enterprises, and entrepreneurs to drive innovation, diversification, export capabilities, product development, and commercialisation. The grant program is a joint initiative between the Shire of Murray and DPIRD, supporting innovation at the Peel-based Food Innovation Precinct WA.
JSF-ISP – Sustainment Grants
$50,000 up to $250,000
The Joint Strike Fighter Industry Support Program (JSF-ISP) Sustainment Grant offers funding opportunities to Australian businesses aiming to enhance their capabilities and secure contracts during the sustainment phase of the Joint Strike Fighter Program.
JSF-ISP – Production and Modernisation Grants
$150,000 - $1.5 million
The JSF-ISP offers funding to Australian companies to develop or enhance capabilities that can improve their ability to win work in the production, sustainment, and modernisation phases of the Joint Strike Fighter Program.
Defence Industry Development Grants Program – Skilling Stream
$5,000 to $250,000
The Australian Defence Industry Development Grants Program (DIDG) announced it will award grants as part of the Defence Industry Development Strategy, offering $153.6 million over four years from 2024-25 to 2027-28 to support businesses in areas critical to national defence. The Defence Industry Development Grants Program's Skilling Stream provides funding for training and upskilling for personnel to gain qualifications and experience in priority trade, technical, and professional areas, fostering a workforce that aligns with Defence requirements.
