Festivals Australia Program – Round 20

Average $40,000 per grant

The Festival's Australia program aims to support arts and culture activities at festivals and community events in regional and remote Australia. It is a part of the Australian Government's Arts and Cultural Development Program to support participation in, and access to, Australia's arts and culture. Each funding round allocates approximately $700,000 with the average grant recipient receiving $40,000.

Queensland Destination Events Program (QDEP)

The Queensland Destination Events Program (QDEP) aims to leverage the benefits between events and the destinations they are staged, extending the effects of the economic, marketing and social benefits of events throughout metropolitan and regional Queensland.

TAS Defence Industry Tender Support Program

Up to $30,000

The Defence Industry Tender Support Program supports Tasmanian-based advanced manufacturers and technology enterprises in securing specialist bid and tender writing consultants for defence tenders. As part of the Tasmanian Government’s Tasmanian Defence Industry Strategy 2029, the program offers $100,000 in funding for 2025 and another $100,000 in 2026. It provides up to 50% co-funding for businesses engaging external consultancy services to develop submissions for defence procurement opportunities.

VIC Industry Development Fund (Opening mid-2025)

$50K-$250K expected (exact grant value TBC)

With a $20M funding pool, this initiative aims to support eligible businesses with high growth potential across advanced manufacturing, health and medical sectors, circular economy, digital technology, and agribusiness. By collaborating with commercial lenders, the fund will facilitate the establishment of loan facilities to empower innovative Victorian start-ups and scale-ups.

NSW REDCIP Fund

$250,000 and $5 million

The Regional Economic Development and Community Investment Program (REDCIP) provides support for economic growth and community well-being in regional areas. Funding will support the creation of jobs, stimulate investment, and enhance community infrastructure, aiming to strengthen regional economies and improve the quality of life for residents.

Critical Technologies Challenge Program – Round 2

Stage 1: $100,000-$500,000; Stage 2: up to $5million

This program supports consortia collaborations with funding to develop quantum technology solutions or components addressing market-driven challenges of national significance. Projects may also integrate advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and robotics to create innovative solutions.

SA Manufacturing Technology Adoption Program (MTAP)

up to $50,000

The Manufacturing Technology Adoption Program (MTAP) supports South Australian manufacturers in boosting productivity and global competitiveness. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can apply for up to $50,000 in matched funding to adopt innovative Industry 4.0 technologies, including AI, machine learning, data analytics, blockchain, AR/VR, additive manufacturing, IIoT, and optics.

WA Wind Energy Manufacturing Co-Investment Program

Stream 1: $20,000-$60,000; Stream 2: $500,000-$1million

This initiative will provide funding to support the growth of local businesses in the wind energy industry, encouraging innovation, job creation, and the development of new technologies. This program aims to enhance the capabilities of Western Australia's renewable energy sector, contributing to its transition to a low-carbon economy.
