NSW Electric Vehicle Fleets Incentive

$7 million - $8 million

In 2023, almost 50% of new passenger and light commercial vehicles in NSW were purchased by business and government fleets, making fleet emissions reduction key to cutting transport sector emissions. Fleet vehicles also help boost the second-hand EV market and serve as a demonstration tool for the public, though fleet managers face challenges such as higher EV costs and limited model options. As part of the Net Zero Plan and the NSW Electric Vehicle Strategy, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment, and Water has developed the Electric Vehicle Fleets Incentive.

Made in Queensland Program – Round 7

$50,000 - $2.5 million

The Made in Queensland (MIQ) Program offers grant funding to assist small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in the traditional manufacturing sector based in Queensland. Its primary objective is to enhance their international competitiveness, productivity, and profitability by facilitating the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and processes. By supporting existing manufacturing jobs and fostering the creation of future roles within Queensland's manufacturing businesses and supply chains, the MIQ Program strives to fuel the growth of Queensland's economy.

NSW EVFC Site Host EOI 2024

$20 million to $149 million

The NSW Government is partnering to fund an EV fast charging network and is looking for landowners and leaseholders who are interested in hosting charging stations. The program is managed by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment, and Water and is inviting landowners and leaseholders to submit potential site options for Charge Point Operators.

NSW Drive Electric NSW EV Fast Charging Grants – Round 3

$150,000 to $15,000,000

The NSW Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Grants - Round 3, managed by the Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment, and Water is offering funding from $150,000 to $15,000,000 for charge point operators to construct, own, and operate fast and ultra-fast charging stations in 140 designated zones throughout NSW, with a total funding pool of $54 million available.

NSW EV Kerbside Charging Grants – Round 2

$100,000 to $800,000

The EV Kerbside Charging Grants Program aims to support NSW's goal of being the easiest place in Australia to own and operate an electric vehicle by increasing charging options for drivers with limited or no access to off-street parking and address the needs of a growing number of EV drivers to facilitate the transition to electric vehicles. The grants will test various kerbside charging technologies and commercial models to foster a sustainable kerbside charging market, while also providing information and support regarding planning approval pathways for kerbside charging.

Business Events Australia Bid Fund Program

Minimum of $50,000

The Business Events Bid Fund Program is managed by the Business Events Australia unit of Tourism Australia. It is a subvention fund aimed at increasing new international business events for Australia. The program provides financial support at the critical bidding stage, helping Australia outcompete other international destinations for the right to host these events.

ACT Energy Innovation Fund

$20,000 to $1,000,000

The ACT Government's Energy Innovation Fund is driving the ACT's transition to a net-zero energy economy by supporting innovative energy technologies and solutions. $19 million has been allocated to the EIF following the fifth round of the ACT renewables auction, which helps maintain the ACT's 100% renewable electricity target. The EIF is administered by the ACT Government's Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate, with guidance from an independent Industry Advisory Board.

NT Aboriginal Tourism Development in NT Parks and Reserves Grant Program

$30,000 to $100,000

The Northern Territory Aboriginal Tourism Strategy 2020-2030 is aimed at ensuring that Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory are respectfully supported to benefit economically, socially, and culturally by sharing their cultures through the tourism industry. The Aboriginal Tourism Development in NT Parks and Reserves Grant Program supports Northern Territory-owned and majority-owned Aboriginal businesses and organisations to create tourism products in Joint Managed Parks and offer Aboriginal cultural experiences and tourism products to visitors.

NT Aboriginal Tourism Development Support Grant Program

$10,000 to $30,000

The Northern Territory Aboriginal Tourism Strategy aims to inspire visitors to immerse themselves in one of the world's oldest cultures through authentic tourism experiences that ensure the long-term sustainability of the Aboriginal tourism sector. Round 3 of the Aboriginal Tourism Development Support Grant Program supports this vision by helping Aboriginal-owned businesses and organisations create unique Aboriginal cultural tourism experiences and products that attract visitors to the Northern Territory and encourage them to stay longer.
