South Australian Venture Capital Fund

Total funding of $50 million for the South Australian Venture Capital Fund (SAVCF) to assist in building dynamic and innovative early-stage businesses to boost their growth nationally and globally.

The program is looking at investing in companies that have high-growth and export potential and has demonstrated a market for their service or product as well as have either started generating revenue or can illustrate and evidence a path to monetisation and customer validation.

What companies are eligible for funding?

Companies that have the following characteristics:

  • A large addressable market
  • A product or service offering with a demonstrated ability to meet an existing or emerging market need
  • A clear thesis on the sources of the business’ competitive advantage, and the sustainability/defensibility of this competitive advantage
  • Ability to scale rapidly in a capital efficient way
  • Led by a very high quality management team
  • A clear path to a liquidity event

Entitlement. Applications are assessed against eligibility criteria.
