Arts Queensland – Queensland Major Commissioning Fund

The Queensland Major Commissioning Fund supports the development and presentation of impactful, large‑scale creative works that attract large audiences and contribute to Queensland’s cultural identity. The program focuses on projects that deliver strong public outcomes and help position Queensland as a leading creative and events destination leading into Brisbane 2032.
WA Creative Learning Program – Collaborations
Funding up to $60,000 is available.
The WA Creative Learning Program – Collaborations supports projects that connect Western Australian creatives with schools to deliver arts-based learning that extends beyond traditional arts curriculum areas. The program aims to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes by embedding creative processes across curriculum areas. Funded activities focus on collaboration between artists, educators and school communities, supporting access to enriched learning experiences for students from kindergarten to Year 12. The program also builds the creative learning capacity of educators and creative practitioners, with a strong emphasis on inclusion, disadvantage and regional access. Activities must demonstrate cross-curricular alignment, student engagement and meaningful collaboration between creative practitioners and schools.
WA – Regional Performing Arts Program
Funding up to $150,000 is available.
Funding for live performing arts development and touring projects in regional Western Australia.
Visual Arts Major Commissioning Projects (Individuals and Groups)
Funding up to $100,000 is available.
The Visual Arts Major Commissioning Projects program supports Australian visual artists and craft practitioners to create significant new commissions for presentation in publicly accessible institutions in Australia or internationally. Delivered by Creative Australia under the Visual Arts, Craft and Design Partnership Framework, the program provides substantial investment to enable ambitious, high-quality new work. Applicants must have a confirmed invitation from a gallery or institution to present the new commission, including a commitment to pay a cash artist fee. The program supports risk-taking, experimentation and the development of new bodies of work, with funding intended to cover the creation and delivery of the commissioned project rather than costs already supported by presenting institutions.
