Aligned with the government's Nature Positive agenda, this program will help ensure that Australia meets international obligations under the Convention on Biological Diversity and other relevant environmental treaties.
Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program – Round 11

The Remote Airstrip Upgrade Program Round 11 offers funding for the enhancement of aerodromes situated in remote regions of Australia. Its primary objective is to ensure year-round, all-weather accessibility and enhance the delivery of essential goods and services, particularly in areas where road access is either absent or unreliable.
Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises
A grant of up to $25,000, covering up to 100% of eligible expenditure
The Energy Efficiency Grants for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises program supports businesses in upgrading or replacing inefficient equipment. This initiative assists businesses in reducing their energy consumption while enhancing their energy efficiency. Furthermore, it will contribute to mitigating energy price fluctuations.
MRFF 2022 Frontier Health and Medical Research Grant
Up to $25 million
Please update to ‘MRFF 2022 Frontier Health and Medical Research Grant Opportunity supports medical research and program to develop novel health technologies and/or re-purpose existing health technology in a novel way. Available funding is up to $25,000,000 per project. The research program is anticipating to delivery of new treatments for currently serious and incurable health conditions through a series of related projects.
Defence Strategic Policy Grants Program

The 2024 Strategic Policy Grants Program's (SPGP) is designed to enhance public discourse on Australia's strategic landscape, foster stronger defence partnerships, and provide informed strategic policy recommendations to the Defence. Through the funding of independent initiatives, the SPGP seeks to delve into the core aspects of Defence's purpose, mission, and priorities.
The 2024 SPGP is scheduled to take place over a duration of up to three years, commencing in July 2024 and concluding in June 2027.
Visions of Australia Program
Each year, approximately $2.7 million in funding is available, distributed across two funding rounds.
The Visions of Australia Program provides funding to support the development and touring of quality exhibitions around Australia by Australian arts and cultural organisations.
Program funding is distributed through two streams: development and touring. These streams support various costs, including exhibition design, crating, installation, freighting, and artist loan fees.
Carbon Capture Technologies Program
$1,000,000 - $15,000,000
The Australian Government is fully dedicated to taking ambitious climate action, with clear targets of reducing emissions by 43 percent below 2005 levels by 2030, followed by achieving net zero emissions by 2050. To achieve this goal, the government is actively leading efforts to transition to a net zero economy by implementing emission reduction measures and investing in low-carbon opportunities. Recognising the complexity of this task, the government acknowledges that a diverse range of technologies and tools will be required.
One effective technological approach in this domain is carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS). CCUS encompasses a variety of advanced solutions engineered to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from industrial processes or directly from the air. These captured emissions can be utilised in the production of innovative products or securely stored in underground geological formations for long-term sequestration.
Live Music Australia Program
$5,000 - $100,000
About Round 7 of the Program: Round 7 will once again place a strong emphasis on live music festivals, aligning with industry demand and continuing to support the sustainability of the live music sector. The goal is to promote the presentation of more original live music, providing opportunities for artists to showcase their talent.
Live Music Australia fully embraces the five pillars that shape Revive, which include First Nations First, A Place for Every Story, Centrality of the Artist, Strong Cultural Infrastructure, and Engaging the Audience. By addressing these pillars, we are committed to creating an inclusive and thriving live music community.
The program has three main objectives. Firstly, we aim to support a sustainable venue-based live music industry by enhancing professional capacity within venues and fostering the growth of audiences. Secondly, we strive to promote partnerships, collaboration, and networks across the Australian live music industry. Lastly, we are dedicated to supporting the development, growth, and innovation of Australian contemporary live music by providing increased performance opportunities for original contemporary music by Australian artists.
