QLD Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Grant (MEEG) Program

$5000 - $25,000

The Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Grant (MEEG) Program, funded at $7.1 million by the Queensland Government, supports the manufacturing sector in enhancing its competitiveness in a low-carbon future. This is achieved through the implementation of energy-efficient measures that reduce both energy costs and operational emissions. Queensland-based manufacturers who aim to improve energy efficiency, adopt advanced technology, lower energy consumption and associated expenses, reduce emissions, and promote energy awareness are encouraged to apply.

QLD Reef Coastal Restoration Program

Up to $2 million

The Reef Coastal Restoration Program (the program) aims to restore and rehabilitate Great Barrier Reef (the Reef) coastal habitats and ecosystems, particularly those classified as blue carbon systems. Through the implementation of various projects, the program will actively contribute to the achievement of the Reef 2050 Long-Term Sustainability Plan (Reef 2050 plan) and Reef Trust Outcomes. The program aims to achieve the following objectives, rehabilitate and restore degraded or previously destroyed Reef coastal habitats/ecosystems through the implementation of on-ground ecosystem rehabilitation and restoration activities. The Reef 2050 Plan seeks to establish a future in which the reef is in improved condition and remains sustainable for future generations to come.

MRFF 2022 Frontier Health and Medical Research Grant

Up to $25 million

Please update to ‘MRFF 2022 Frontier Health and Medical Research Grant Opportunity supports medical research and program to develop novel health technologies and/or re-purpose existing health technology in a novel way. Available funding is up to $25,000,000 per project. The research program is anticipating to delivery of new treatments for currently serious and incurable health conditions through a series of related projects.

Defence Strategic Policy Grants Program

The 2024 Strategic Policy Grants Program's (SPGP) is designed to enhance public discourse on Australia's strategic landscape, foster stronger defence partnerships, and provide informed strategic policy recommendations to the Defence. Through the funding of independent initiatives, the SPGP seeks to delve into the core aspects of Defence's purpose, mission, and priorities. The 2024 SPGP is scheduled to take place over a duration of up to three years, commencing in July 2024 and concluding in June 2027.

Carbon Capture Technologies Program – Round 2

Up to $10 million

This program supports pilot and demonstration projects that accelerate the development of novel and emerging carbon capture, utilisation and removal technologies. Funding supports technologies that address hard to abate and residual emissions and contribute to Australia’s net zero targets. Projects must demonstrate research, development or demonstration outcomes beyond feasibility studies.
