CRC-P Grants facilitate short-term research collaborations led by industry, effectively bridging the gap between researchers and industry. The initiative focuses on driving research and development efforts towards viable commercial applications.

The Battery Breakthrough Initiative (BBI) was announced as part of the Federal Government’s Future Made in Australia (FMA) policy. The program has a $500 million of grant funding pool available.

Funding is available to support PBCs to maximise the economic and social potential of native title through the effective and sustainable management of their land.

ARENA is continuing its support for research and development (R&D) and commercialisation of Australian solar PV, with a new $60 million funding round to push innovation and take solar to ultra low-cost levels.

Offers up to $500,000 in funding for later-stage projects that are closer to market and require support to scale or commercialise.

As part of the 2024–25 Federal Budget, the Australian Government announced the second round of the Hydrogen Headstart program to support major hydrogen production projects and grow Australia’s clean energy industry. Delivered by ARENA, round 2 aims to strengthen Australia’s position in the global hydrogen market. ARENA is now seeking input on the proposed program design through a public consultation process. Stakeholders are invited to review the Consultation Paper and provide feedback via the online forms by 31 July 2025.

The Drought Resilience Innovation Challenges Pilot Program, part of the Future Drought Fund, provides funding of up to $2 million per project. It supports initiatives that improve natural capital, enhance biodiversity, and build drought resilience in agricultural landscapes.

The Early Stage Venture Capital Limited Partnerships (ESVCLP) program provides tax benefits to encourage investment in early-stage Australian companies. Eligible venture capital funds can access flow-through tax treatment and receive tax exemptions on gains and income distributed to their investors.

The program offers different levels of support depending on where the business currently is on its export journey. Each stream is based on a 50:50 co-contribution basis.
