The WA Mentally Healthy Workplaces (MHW) Grant Program provides funding to support the creation of safer workplaces by improving how organisations understand, identify and manage psychosocial hazards. Delivered by WorkSafe WA within the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety, the program supports initiatives that help prevent work-related psychological harm and strengthen compliance with psychosocial work health and safety duties. The program focuses on practical, accessible outputs that workplaces can readily apply, with an emphasis on building foundational capability across industries and workforce groups. Funding is delivered through a competitive, two-stage model, with the current guidelines outlining stage one initiatives focused on awareness and understanding. The program operates from 2025–26 to 2028–29 and is intended to build on the outcomes achieved in the initial funding round completed in 2024–25.
