With a $20 million funding pool, this initiative aims to support eligible Victorian business with high growth potential through grants, which will turbocharge the government’s five priority sectors. The fund will open by mid-2025.
Key Requirements
Be a Victorian business operating in one of the government’s five priority areas:
- Advanced Manufacturing and defence
- Health technologies and medical research
- Circular Economy
- Digital Technologies
- Agribusiness
Be able to provide matched funding, expected to be on a 2:1 ratio based on previous rounds, however matched funding requirements are still to be confirmed.
What is eligible for funding?
Full eligibility guidelines are yet to be released, however funding will be aimed at improving productivity, not generating employment.
Based on previous funding rounds, we expect grants of $50K-$250K to be available.
It is likely funding will be available for capital investment projects, however this will be confirmed once the fund’s guidelines are released.
What companies are eligible for funding?
Victorian businesses, which operate in one of the government’s five priority areas:
- Advanced Manufacturing and defence
- Health technologies and medical research
- Circular Economy
- Digital Technologies
- Agribusiness
Businesses will likely be required to have a minimum two year+ trading history.
Exact eligibility requirements will be confirmed once the guidelines are released.
Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?
Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
How can I increase my chances of winning this grant?

- CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) cost-benefit analysis
- Stakeholder relations and Risk Mitigation Plans
- Any other relevant forecasting that will support your application
