The Tour de Cure Annual Grants Round supports Australian cancer research, prevention and support initiatives. The 2026–27 program focuses on developing the next generation of cancer research by funding early career researchers, PhD scholars and brain cancer researchers through competitive grant opportunities assessed on scientific merit, innovation and potential impact.

Tour de Cure provides funding through the following 2026–27 grant categories:
- Early Career Research Grant
- PhD Scholarship
- Prof Richard Scolyer Award for Brain Cancer Research (Early, Mid and Senior Career Researchers)
Tour de Cure invests annually in Australian cancer research, prevention and support initiatives through its Annual Grants Round.
- Applicants must be undertaking Australian-based cancer research.
- An Expression of Interest (EOI) is mandatory for all grant categories.
- Applications are assessed through an independent and merit-based review process.
- Institutions may submit a maximum of two applications per grant category (excluding PhD Scholarships).
- Applications across all cancer types are eligible as Tour de Cure is cancer-agnostic.

Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?
Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
How can I increase my chances of winning this grant?
