The Expand Together Infrastructure and Equipment Grants 2026–27 Round 2 provide one-off funding to eligible multicultural organisations in South Australia to purchase equipment and upgrade, extend, or build community facilities used by culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Funding is available across four categories, ranging from grants up to $50,000 for equipment or infrastructure projects through to larger grants between $50,001 and $100,000. Projects are delivered over 12 months, with Round 2 projects commencing in February 2027.

For grant requests above $50,000, applicants must provide cash matched funding, with different minimum match ratios applying depending on whether the project is in metropolitan Adelaide or regional and rural South Australia. The program aims to strengthen the capacity of multicultural organisations by improving access to facilities and equipment that support community participation, service delivery, and connections with the wider community.

Key Requirements

  • Support access and participation: Increase use and access of community facilities and equipment by culturally and linguistically diverse communities to support participation in activities and delivery of services that meet community need.
  • Support new and emerging communities: Support communities that may have difficulties accessing community infrastructure and equipment readily.
  • Encourage partnerships: Foster financial or non-financial partnerships between culturally and linguistically diverse communities through shared use of facilities and equipment.
  • Deliver within the project term: Projects must be delivered over 12 months, with Round 2 projects commencing in February 2027.
  • Matched funding where applicable: If requesting more than $50,000, provide the required cash matched funding and evidence of those funds. In-kind support and discounts or donations are not eligible matched funding
