The Expand Together Grants (2026–27 Round 2) provide one‑off funding to eligible multicultural organisations in South Australia to purchase equipment or expand, extend or build community facilities that support culturally and linguistically diverse communities. These grants aim to ensure multicultural community groups have appropriate infrastructure, tools and spaces to deliver programs, host community gatherings and provide services that enhance social inclusion and cultural participation
Key Requirements
- Support multicultural communities: Fund equipment purchases and community facility upgrades/extensions that benefit culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
- Four funding categories: Equipment ≤$50k, Infrastructure ≤$50k, Equipment $50k–$100k, Infrastructure $50k–$100k.
- Matched funding: Required if seeking more than $50,000
- Project timeframe: Projects must be delivered within 12 months

- Construction, extension or upgrades of community facilities used by culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?
Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.

- CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) cost-benefit analysis
- Stakeholder relations and Risk Mitigation Plans
- Any other relevant forecasting that will support your application
