QLD Skilling Queenslanders for Work – Get Set for Work

This program supports disadvantaged Queenslanders to improve employability and transition into work, training or further education. Funding supports integrated training, work readiness and job placement activities tailored to participant needs. The program forms part of the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.
Key Requirements
- Projects must deliver customised training and employment support
- Activities must address community and local labour market needs
- Projects must support pathways into work, training or further education
- Applicants must demonstrate value for money and measurable outcomes
What is eligible for funding?
- Training leading to qualifications including foundation skills
- Integrated learner support such as job preparation, mentoring and case management
- Non accredited training where linked to employment outcomes
- Project delivery and coordination costs directly related to the project
What companies are eligible for funding?
Eligible applicants are not for profit community based organisations registered for GST. Applicants must demonstrate experience delivering services in the location they are applying for, a commitment to access and equity principles, and the capacity to provide appropriate learner support services.
Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?
Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
How can I increase my chances of winning this grant?

- CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) cost-benefit analysis
- Stakeholder relations and Risk Mitigation Plans
- Any other relevant forecasting that will support your application
