The Preventive Health and Chronic Disease Support – LGBTIQA+ Safe Spaces grant supports the delivery of inclusive primary care workforce training and accreditation. The program aims to strengthen preventive health and chronic disease support for LGBTIQA+ communities by improving access, safety and quality of primary healthcare services across Australia.

Eligible activities include:

  • Development and delivery of LGBTIQA+ inclusive primary care workforce training
  • Accreditation and capability‑building activities aligned to inclusive care standards
  • Activities supporting preventive health and chronic disease care for LGBTIQA+ communities

Funding cannot be used for:

  • Activities outside the scope defined in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines
  • Costs incurred prior to execution of a Grant Agreement
  • Expenditure not permitted under Section 5 of the Grant Opportunity Guidelines

Eligible applicants are organisations that meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines published on GrantConnect.

Consortium applications are permitted, with a single lead organisation responsible for grant delivery and compliance.

Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?

Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
