The NSW Community Building Partnership (CBP) Program provides grant funding to local community organisations and councils to strengthen the wellbeing of NSW communities through small local infrastructure projects. The program supports capital works, equipment and vehicle projects that deliver practical benefits at a local level. Funding is delivered through a competitive, two-stage process beginning with an Expression of Interest, followed by an invitation-only detailed application for shortlisted projects. The 2026 round focuses on projects that improve community infrastructure, enhance service delivery and respond to local priorities within each NSW electoral district. Projects must demonstrate community benefit, be deliverable within the required timeframe and align with the priorities identified for the relevant electorate.
