The 100 Women Grants Program 2026 provides funding to Australian registered charities delivering projects that empower women and girls to reach their full potential. The program supports initiatives that create positive, measurable change across key focus areas including education, economic empowerment, health and wellbeing, safety, recovery, and long-term resilience.

Applicants must demonstrate organisational readiness, evidence of impact, strong community support, and long-term sustainability beyond the grant period. The program aims to fund multiple projects each year and prioritises initiatives that address interconnected challenges faced by women and girls in Australia.

Key Requirements

  • Alignment with 100 Women Focus Areas Projects must address one or more focus areas, including education and skills, economic empowerment, health and wellbeing, safety and recovery, or UN Sustainable Development Goal #5: Gender Equality. Projects addressing multiple, interconnected needs are strongly encouraged.
  • Demonstrated Impact and Evidence Applicants must clearly articulate their impact story, identify beneficiaries, demonstrate meaningful consultation, and provide evidence that the proposed solution is effective, including how outcomes will be measured and tracked.
  • Community Endorsement and Sustainability Projects must demonstrate broad community support, including partnerships and co-funding, and clearly explain how benefits and activities will continue after the grant funding period ends

 

What is eligible for funding?

  • Project-based initiatives that empower women and girls
  • Pilot programs, trials or research activities with a clear rationale
  • New or expanded services beyond existing core operations
  • Activities aligned to education, economic participation, health, safety or resilience outcome

What companies are eligible for funding?

Eligible applicants must:

  • Be an Australian registered charity
  • Hold Item 1 Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status
  • Have been operating for at least 36 months
  • Have annual revenue of $5 million or less (with limited exemptions)
  • Contribute or source at least 25% of total project costs in cash
  • Apply directly (no auspicing arrangements permitted)

Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?

Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
