The Advancing Antimony Grants Program supports early‑stage industry development of downstream antimony processing in Victoria. The program aims to build robust, evidence‑based business cases that strengthen Victoria’s sovereign processing capability, support national critical minerals supply chains and generate long‑term economic value, in line with the Victorian Critical Minerals Roadmap.
Key Requirements
- Projects must focus on downstream antimony processing facilities located in Victoria.
- Funding supports pre‑investment, pre‑construction activities only.
- All applications must nominate a single lead organisation, including consortium applications.
- Applicants must demonstrate how proposed activities materially inform investment decision‑making, feasibility, approvals or risk management.
- Applicants must not appear on the DFAT sanctions list or present regulatory or geopolitical risks.
- Applications must comply with Victorian Government governance, probity and due diligence requirements.
What is eligible for funding?
- Specialist industry and market studies
- Targeted feasibility studies
- Technical assessments, engineering studies and processing concepts
- Market engagement activities, including supply chain, customer or offtake engagement
- Flowsheet design
- Commercial cost estimation methodologies and risk assessments
- Independent assessments informing technical feasibility, operating costs or reliability
- Advice supporting investment readiness and final investment decisions
- Laboratory, bench‑scale or existing facility pilot or demonstration activities that reduce technical or commercial risk
What companies are eligible for funding?
- Companies registered under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)
- Incorporated associations registered under Victorian legislation
- Indigenous organisations registered under the CATSI Act
- Franchisees operating as a separate legal entity
- Trustees applying on behalf of a trust (where eligibility requirements are met)
Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?
Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
How can I increase my chances of winning this grant?
