The Telematics Trust Supporting Education Through Innovative Technology Grant assists projects that demonstrate innovative use of technology to improve education and training outcomes in Victoria.

The grant supports initiatives that educate and empower people from diverse backgrounds, build capability, and deliver measurable social, economic or environmental benefits for Victorian communities. Funding is intended for projects that would benefit from seed funding and are unlikely to be supported through other funding sources.

Key Requirements

  • Innovative use of technology Projects must demonstrate how technology is used in a new or innovative way to enhance education or training outcomes and address an identified community need.
  • Community benefit for Victoria Projects must be based in Victoria and deliver clear cultural, social, economic or environmental benefits to Victorian communities.
  • Capability to deliver Applicants must demonstrate the skills, governance, partnerships and resources required to successfully deliver the proposed project.
  • Reporting and accountability Successful applicants must comply with reporting, acquittal and acknowledgement requirements outlined in the Grant Conditions.

  • Development or delivery of technology‑enabled education or training programs.
  • Pilot or seed‑funded initiatives using technology to address educational or social challenges.
  • Projects improving access to learning for diverse or disadvantaged groups.
  • Technology-based solutions that improve education, training or community capability outcomes.

Additional considerations:

  • Applicants must have an ABN.
  • Projects must be delivered within Victoria, for the benefit of Victorians.
  • Only one application per applicant may be considered per round.

Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
