QLD Skilling Queenslanders for Work – Community Foundation Skills
- Funding up to $135,600 per project
- Program duration is up to a maximum of 12 months
- Total funding pool of $5 million for 2026 to 27
This program supports disadvantaged Queenslanders with low literacy, numeracy and digital skills. Funding supports the delivery of customised foundation skills training that improves employability and supports pathways into further training or work. The program forms part of the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative.

What companies are eligible for funding?
Applicants must be not for profit organisations registered for GST, including Adult Community Education providers. Applicants must demonstrate experience delivering foundation skills support, a commitment to access and equity principles, and the capability to service the identified community or location.
Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?
Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
How can I increase my chances of winning this grant?

- Stakeholder relations and Risk Mitigation Plans
- Any other relevant forecasting that will support your application
