  • Grant application open until 20 March 2026.
  • Grants up to $5 million per application (Up to 50% of eligible project costs, excluding GST. Applicants must co-contribute the remaining 50% in cash or cash equivalents.)

The Production Scale-Up Stream is designed to help existing battery manufacturers expand their operations and strengthen Western Australia’s battery energy storage supply chain. Its objectives are to enhance the capability and capacity of manufacturers to produce batteries, improve competitiveness and market share, diversify the manufacturing supply chain, reduce commercial risk and uncertainty, and create new jobs for Western Australians.
