WA Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund – Small Grants

The program seeks to provide cash assistance to community groups and local governments to develop basic infrastructure for recreation and sport .

What is eligible for funding?
The eligible applicant activities include:
- Practice wickets and cricket pitch
- Various planning studies to a maximum grant amount of $25,000
- Safety fences for sport and recreation facilities.
- Storage upgrades
- Change rooms refurbishments
- Water collection systems, large scale dams, and pipelines for distribution (maximum grant offered is $60,000)
- Small floodlighting projects
- Court surface conversion
What companies are eligible for funding?
To be eligible, the applicants must:
- Have ABN.
- Either a local government or recreation, a not-for-profit sport, or community organisation incorporated under the WA Associations Incorporation Act 1987
Is this grant competitive or entitlement based?
Competitive. Your application will be assessed among other applications by a judging panel.
